South Midlands Plant Limited are a groundwork and civil engineering contractor based near Northampton working for national construction companies on commercial, residential, industrial and housing association work.

With contract values ranging from £5,000 to £4.5 million, we work within a 75-mile radius of our headquarters including the Midlands, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.

Ensuring the Health and Safety of everyone involved in our operations is protected at all times is of the utmost importance to South Midlands Plant. This is embedded into our culture and is prioritised when we plan and carry out our business operations. Registered with the CITB, the training starts with all employees holding a CSCS card and CPCS cards for machine operators as a minimum. All supervisors have attained the CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme Qualification as a minimum alongside first aid qualifications and are headed by Contracts Managers with Site Managers Safety Training Scheme or NEBOSH certificates.
